The Municipal Service District (MSD) is a 27-block district located in downtown Kinston. The businesses within this district pay a supplementary tax of $0.27 per $1,000 value of your property tax to support downtown activities and improvements. Every few years, the City of Kinston surveys constituents in the MSD. This survey is used to gauge your satisfaction with the MSD and needed updates. Paper copies are available upon request.
The results of this survey will be consolidated and presented to the City Council.
